Pick from your tube a dark color as foreground color and a bright color as background color
*
Flood fill your image with this gradient

Layers - new raster layer
*
Selections - select all
*
Copy your tube and paste into selection
*
Selections - select none
*
Effects - image effects - seamless tiling - default
*
Adjust - blur - gaussian blur - radius 15
*
Adjust - add/remove noise - add noise

Adjust - sharpness - sharpen more
*
Layers - merge - merge down
*
Layers - load/save mask - load mask from disk"08_luzma"

Layers - duplicate

Layers - merge - merge down

Hit with the magic wand in the transparent part on the outside

Selections - inverse

Layers - new raster layer

Copy your tube and paste into selection

Selections - select none

Layers - merge - merge down

Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow

Repeat with V -7 and H -7

Turn back the visability of the other 2 layers by clicking on the eye

Activate the top layer

Layers - duplicate

Layers - merge - merge down

Layerpallet - blendmode on limantion

Image - add border - 5 pixel white

Select with the magic wand the border

Flood fill the selection with your bright color

Adjust - sharpness - sharpen more
