Fill the layer with this linear gradient

Selections - select all
*
Copy the tube "noel_boules_2_misted-macha-01-12-08" and paste into the selection

Selections - select none
*
Effects - image effects - seamless tiling - default settings
*
Adjust - blur - gaussian blur 30
*
Blendmode on hard light
*
Layers - new raster layer
*
Selections - select all
*
Copy the tube "477-christmas1-LB tubes" and paste into the selection

Selections - select none
*
Opacity of this layer 70%
*
Copy the tube "aclis_xmas_005_22_12_2008" and paste as a new layer

Move the tube as on the example

Copy the tube "aclis_xmas_03_10_12_2008" and paste as a new layer

Move the tube to the left
*
Copy the tube "jet-christmasdog-december-2007" and paste as a new layer

Image - resize - 60% - uncheck all layers
*
Move the tube to the right
*
Layers - new raster layer
*
Effects - plugins - VM Toolbox - Grid

Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow

Copy the tube "word art christmas night_aliciar" and paste as a new layer

Move the tube up to the right
*
Copy the tube "calguislampe3310" and paste as a new layer

Image - resize - 50% - uncheck all layers
*
Move the tube as on the example

Tool brush lighten/darken (L)

Place the cursor on the light and push 3 times the leftmousebutton
*
Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow

Copy the tube "Marca de Agua" and paste as a new layer
*
Image - add border

*
Effects - plugins - VDL Adrenaline - Snowflakes

If you don't want an animation you can save your work now as jpg and otherwise you have to continue a little longer :0)
